Biography

Max Garrick is the Assistant Director of Executive Application Support at the UC Irvine’s Office of Information Technology (OIT). He is the IT partner to 15 units across Academic Affairs, Equal Opportunity & Compliance, Global Engagement, Institute and Museum for California Art, and executive offices. Since 2011, Max has led UC Recruit, the University of California’s system-wide faculty recruitment system. Max is currently co-leading OIT’s Mentorship Program, connecting dozens of people from across the department to develop their careers and continually improve. Max joined UC Irvine’s OIT in 2001 as a student employee. In 2003 he earned a bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine’s Information & Computer Science department and joined OIT as a career staff member.
